We believe in the evangelistic missionary fervor and endeavor.

MEET PASTOR JACQUELYN RHODES
Pastor Rhodes received her call into the ministry in 1982 after being filled with the Holy Spirit. The Lord told her to “feed His sheep.” At the time, she and her husband David were attending Word of Faith Church and were directed to teach the fifth grade Sunday school class which they did.
Pastor Jacque had always wanted to be an administrator and had finished her Masters’ Plus Thirty. As she picked up an application at Wayne State University to pursue her doctorate degree, the Lord told her to put it down. She was presently working at the Highland Park Community High School.
Nine years after receiving her call to pastor, she and Pastor David opened their church at the YMCA in Highland Park in 1991. Subsequently, they moved to their present location in Detroit, New Life! Christian Ministries of which Pastor Jacque is the Senior Pastor. She has written various articles and a Christian Poetry book entitled Trust and Obey. She has two children, Dr. Dana Dyson and Richard Lewis, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pastor David went home to be with the Lord in 2003.
